Node-Red
With this tutorial I want to show you how to install and use the addon Node-Red for home Assistant.
First of all we go to the Supervisor option from the left menu. home assistant.
Then in the top menu we select the ADD-ON STORE option
Now inside the repository Home Assistant Community Addons we have to locate the addon Node Red
Once we have located the addon Node-Red and we have given the option install we have to perform the following steps.
We scroll down and locate the config window.
In this window we have to add the following data, in the section Credential Secret, is the password that NodeRed uses to encrypt your user data, it is important to note that if you change it later, what you have already created in NodeRed will no longer work.
Username You have to put your username, whatever you want, in the section.
Password a password, this same option must also be done in the http_static option.
“ssl” y “require_ssl” should be set to TRUE if you use duckdns to access Hassio
Then we click the save button and it will save the configuration.
Then again we go to the top of the window and click on the option OPEN WEB UI.And it will open a new browser tab where it will show us the main window of the Node-Red.
