Netatmo Camera With Siren

Netamo announced yesterday that they have an upgrade to their existing outdoor camera (previously known as Netatmo Presence) that now adds a built-in siren, to further deter potential intruders on your property. This is in addition to the fact that the camera already comes complete with a bright, powerful light, but every little bit helps, right?

As with the current model, the new updated Netatmo Camera With Sirena will also be compatible with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and as with its indoor camera, it comes with 1080p recording quality, a slot for a micro SD card for local storage, infrared night vision and 8x digital zoom.

You can also use cloud storage for your video using an FTP client or even Dropbox, which might suggest this camera won't get HomeKit Secure Video in the future. Neith models have facial recognition, but can tell the difference between humans, pets and vehicles. The siren incorporated in the new model is capable of reaching 105dB.

In terms of specifications, the Netatmo Camera With Siren comes with a 4MP video sensor, 100º FoV and 1920 x 1080 resolution. The LED reflector is dimmable and uses 12W of power. The camera requires a 100-240V connection depending on your region. The camera uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, for the best range, and comes with a 10GB Class 32 micro SD card.

It is reported that the camera is available for pre-purchase.
